The day began with the usual routine: distributing hay and cleaning the stables 🌾. After finishing the first tasks I offered Martina to take some photos for her.
Instead, she asked if I could help paint a trailer that would soon be used for a big festival 🎨. What started as a small task turned into a long project that lasted until around 7 p.m.
The work was exhausting but also satisfying because the trailer looked completely different afterward. As a thank-you I even got a delicious lunch prepared for me. In the evening I went for a walk with Daisy, who later joined me in my room for the night 🐶.
🚆 Tuesday, 30/08/2022
Today the big adventure started: our trip to Northern Ireland! 🇬🇧 Early in the morning we took the bus to Dublin and from there the train to Belfast.
There were a few small mishaps along the way, including taking the wrong tram stop 😅, but we still managed to arrive on time.
The highlight of the day was the Titanic Museum 🚢. It was incredibly modern and interactive, even including a small ride that showed how the ship was built. Afterward we checked into our hotel, grabbed some food at KFC, and relaxed after the long journey.

The second day of our trip took us further north to the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge 🌉.
The bridge is about 20 meters long and hangs 30 meters above the water — definitely a challenge for someone with a fear of heights 😬.

Our last day in Northern Ireland started very early — the alarm rang at 5 a.m. ⏰ so we could visit the Giant’s Causeway again.
Seeing the place early in the morning was magical. The quiet atmosphere and the unique rock formations made the moment feel really special ✨.
Afterward we began the long journey back to the farm. During a stop at a supermarket there was a small conflict with a rude customer, but the cashier actually defended me 👏. By the evening we were finally back — tired but happy after an unforgettable trip.
🐶 Friday, 02/09/2022
After the trip it was time to return to the usual farm routine: feeding hay, cleaning stables, and taking care of the animals 🌾.
One of the dogs had been injured by another dog the previous evening, so I kept checking on him throughout the day to make sure he was okay 🐾.
Daisy was away at an event, so another dog named Denny stayed with me instead. He was very sweet but also quite chaotic — at one point he even managed to tear a hole in my blanket 😅.

Another normal working day began with distributing hay and cleaning the stables 🌾. Nothing particularly exciting happened during the work itself.
However, I mentioned the internet problems we had been having, and about 30 minutes later the connection actually started working again 📶.
In the evening Denny stayed with me again. He has a lot of energy, but after playing with him for a while he finally calmed down and we both had a much more peaceful night 🐶✨.
🎨 Sunday, 04/09/2022
Today was a fairly normal workday on the farm. The routine of feeding hay and cleaning the stables continued as usual 🌾.
In the evening we did something creative together: painting small stones 🎨. It was a relaxing activity and a nice change from the physical farm work.
Unfortunately there was no warm water left when I wanted to shower, so I had to take a cold shower 🚿❄️. Not exactly the best way to end the day — but at least Denny kept me company afterward.
